Saturday, September 2nd, FxF#19’s official program will start with the Norwegian Animation Industry Presentation session where Mikrofilm, Qvisten Animation, Animaskin, Den Siste Skilling, Fredrikstad Animation Festival, Try, Høyskulen i Volda and Norsk Filmforbund will tell us about their past year.
Starting 12:00, at Cinemateket
Saturday, on FxF#19 day, we will start the day with a little portflio review session at 11:00, right outside Tancred (Cinemateket). Anyone is welcome to bring their work and show to a person of their choice among these artists: Kajsa Næss (director at Mikrofilm), Are Austnes (director and production designer at Qvisten Animation), Magdalena Osinska (director of 2d, CG and stop motion projects), Sara Gunnarsdottir (director of 2d projects and illustrator), Stig Saxegaard (art director and animator at Storm Studios).
Session will last 50 minutes and we will share the time among the people present.
Don’t miss Magdalena Osinska‘s presentation on September 2nd, at Cinemateket. After her presentation, Magda will screen her short film I am your Mother, made at Aardman, for Lucas Films and Disney +, as part of the Star Wars series Visions!
During FxF#19 on September 2nd, Sara Gunnarsdottir will screen her Oscar Nominated short film My Year of Dicks.
